Use An Article Directory To Efficiently Promote Your Site

Each person looking to improve a websites ranking and visibility should be writing articles and publishing them to article directories.  There are thousands of them, a simple search on Google will turn up a ton.  Article directories also redistribute the content, so it is a great way to additionally get distribution on your written articles.

Some site owners will choose to have others write a bunch of articles for them for a fee, but the best solution is usually for you to write them yourself for the top quality. Writing articles is not that hard, with an average length article taking about 20 mintuts or a bit more to write. You are the sole expert on your site and its content, and know which keywords should be worked into the text and which niche topics should be written about.  The thing to concentrate on is the redistribution and links within the article, and an article directory is a great tool for that.

For maximum impact, you should ttry to get the article published on a high profile article directory such as Ezine or Affsphere - but there are many others as well.  You will get higher points from the SE’s for this than for lower level article directories, but these also have human reviewers which force the content to be of a higher level, which is a good thing. Once you finish this, then move on to get the same article posted to 4-6 additional article directories.  Do not repost it 100's of times unless you use an article spinner or other tool to randomize some of the text so you do not get penalized for duplicate content.

Additionally, you can use a tool such as My Article Network which has a built in article spinner and is able to redistribute your unique articles to 10000+ blogs dripped over a longer period of time. The time saved with a tool such as this is worth far more than the minor cost of using it - and it allows you to get far far more accomplished in a fraction of the time.
